In celebration of Eddie and Marion Gillanders

Eddie, a senior fellow of the BGAJ, has been at the helm of organising the BGAJ Burns Supper and the annual Royal Highland Show gathering for over a decade, ensuring that the network remains active and well-informed of Scottish news and events

He served as president of the Royal Northern Agricultural Society from 1989 to 1990, and was Agricultural Editor for the Press and Journal for 11 years. His work has appeared in Northern Scot, the Forres Gazette, the Banffshire Herald, the Banffshire Advertiser, the Banffshire Journal, the Huntly Express, the Turiff Advertiser, the Ellon Advertiser and the Inverurie Advertiser to name a few. He was awarded an MBE in 2005 for his contribution to media and agriculture.

Please join us as we acknowledge and celebrate with Eddie and Marion over a few drinks, and Scotch Beef Burgers and salad, kindly provided by Quality Meat Scotland.
